I was the only traveler in the entire bus!
Accompanied by 2 escorts from Spicejet. Ramjeet carried my bags and hurried me all the way to the boarding gate. Ramjeet had given a call to Gaurav and Gaurav made sure that the boarding gate was still open and that there was a bus waiting. As soon as I entered… I heard boarding complete…
Somehow I was not rushed or relaxed…
Gaurav also carried my bag all the way into the flight…
During the 4 hours, I was worried only once, thought of calling up my sister and telling her – there was a substantial chance that I will miss my flight…
But then I thought – that will only create more panic, for the next 2 hours all I can do is sit back in the car, read, eat, and get some sleep. So that’s what I did.
I told myself – I am already late, there was nothing I can do about that. But now – let me do the best I can to get the flight and if I miss it, I’ll make a plan.
In the whole story god only appeared once…
Point?
Every time you say god please help me and then ‘thank god’ for the ‘help’ you received you take power away from the action and into luck. More importantly, it’s an insult to the kindness of the actual real people that came together to help you…
